A few Invasive Species Warriors are encouraged to meet at the South Road boat launch where we will target the remaining water chestnut populations for removal. Gloves are recommended since these invasive plants have spiny seed pods. You are welcome to bring a canoe that can be used to gather these plants. If you are bringing your kayak, please register with Jackie Broder at MEEC because more than 4 kayaks would probably cause congestion as we gather the plants into a central canoe.
