ROAM is envisioned as a multi-day hiking event on the Sullivan O&W Rail Trail with camping, programming and guided walks. You can join us for all, or some of the event. We ask that you register on Eventbrite if you plan to join us …so we can properly prepare.

The quaint village of Wurtsboro will serve as home base for this inaugural event. Saturday and Sunday are full of lots of ways to enjoy the Sullivan O&W Rail Trail, but we encourage people to take some time to enjoy the shops and restaurants of Wurtsboro.
The walking portions of this event are not handicapped accessible, it requires stability; and completing both entire days will require some endurance. Expect to walk between 6 to 12 miles on Saturday, and 4 to 6 miles on Sunday. A limited shuttle service will be provided so participants will have the choice to walk a portion of the route
