Jr. Field Biologist, NY Symbols #2

"Do you know the official Symbols of New York State? This Winter our Jr. Field Biologist Series will focus on 16 of our State Symbols. We'll play an interactive guessing game to learn a fun fact about each symbol! Then we'll take an closer look at 2 Symbols during each of the 4 sessions. You will see why each symbol is special to NY!"

Join us in a game to review 16 of the New York State Symbols. Learn how to identify a Sugar Maple Tree, then head outside to tap one of the Sugar Maples on our property. Do a taste test to compare real maple syrup and artificially flavored syrup. The Wood Frog has a fascinating way of surviving the winter! Lear fun facts about this frog including what it's super power is.
