Fall Festival: Celebrating Indigenous People's Day

As part of our Fall Festival, MEEC will host the Red Feather Drummers, members of the Association of Native Americans of the Hudson Valley (ANA). Join us for a day to explore Native American drumming, dancing, and corrective history. Grandmother Judith Laughing Owl, Susan Singing Rain, and Deborah Leaping Fawn will share stories, singing, dancing, drumming, traditionally based crafts, including corn husk dolls, beading, and talking sticks. They will also have some items for sale. MEEC will also offer crafts and displays representing the various indigenous peoples of the United States, refreshments, and more! Drop in anytime between 10am-3pm
