The BKAA seeks volunteers for their popular spring/summer Nature Watch. If you love nature, are willing to share your passion and have a few weekend hours to offer, then you’d make a great addition to our Team! In return, you will learn about our local bald eagle population, watch eaglets and other birds through high-powered scopes and meet people who share your interest.
The program is likewise a great way for high school and college students to satisfy service learning requirements. Volunteers commit to at least 3 shifts (Saturday and/or Sunday mornings or afternoon) during our season starting 4/12 and ending 6/15.
If you would like to help others share in the appreciation of eagles and BashaKill wildlife, please contact Nora Brusinski at norabrusinski@gmail.com to register for the training or receive more information.
